Saltzman & Evinch, P.C. advises foreign governments on the legal aspects of their foreign policy development and implementation, as well as on the legal aspects of trade and non-trade issues that may effect them in the American legislative and judicial arenas. We have significant experience in international treaties, international organizations, US foreign relations law, US constitutional law, federal jurisdiction and sovereign immunity, as well as the law of the sea, law of war, anti-terror, and human rights. Some examples of our litigation on behalf of foreign entities are the cases of PCI v. Turkish Ministry of Defense (concerning defense procurement contracts), and Crist v. Republic of Turkey (concerning land claims on the island of Cyprus).

We have provided legal counsel to the governments of Turkey, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, as well as on public projects in Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Turkmenistan and Iraq.
